The diagnostic tools that we are now using are one of the best "future proof" systems money can buy. We have diagnostic and tuning equipment for both cars and motorcycles. This system is capable of trouble shooting 90% of the vehicles on our roads today and is up to dealer levels on many of them. All cars after 1998 are equipped with an OBD 16 pin socket, vehicles before this date have different types of sockets. All of which can be diagnosed by our equipment. Cars after 2001 started to use CAN (Control Area Network) as an operating language. This has made vehicle diagnosis more uniform but, at the same time has made it more complex to carry out correct diagnosis as one sensor may have a knock on effect to another. The diagnosis tools we use are able to converse with all CAN systems.
