Mark has been repairing and tuning motocross bikes since he was a teenager, from a little tweak of the 2 stroke to the valve jobs on the big bang 4 strokes.

The possibilities are endless with motocross and enduro bikes.  To set the bike up just right for one person may mean it will be completely wrong for another. We pride ourselves in taking the time to get to know the rider & learn their riding style, whether they go flat out all the time, or prefer to use the torque from the motor.

This helps to get the bike set up just right & we have many happy customers who win races and some that just like to play in the mud at the weekends.

We can carry out all work that your motocross or enduro bike may require from the basic service and tuning to full engine rebuilds and race preparation.

We can also carry out all your suspension repairs and and tuning from replacement fork seals to complete rebuilds and setup.

 VALVE FACTS

Valve clearances should be checked after every 10 hours riding for competition bikes.

Road bike valve clearances should be checked in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.

If a valve clearance closes up, it is usually due to the valve deforming or the valve seat recessing into the head.

THIS IS A WARNING SIGN THAT THE VALVE REQUIRES REPLACING.

It is false economy to fit new valves without re-cutting the valve seat.  The life span of a new valve is greatly reduced when fitted to a worn seat.

Titanium valves have a special oxide coating and therefore should not be lapped into the valve seat.  The coating is worn away by the lapping process, thus greatly reducing the life of both the valve and the seat.

CAN YOU REALLY AFFORD TO TAKE CHANCES WITH YOUR ENGINE?
