Q: Why is your diesel tuning unit better than a chip?

A: Our unit can be fitted in most cases in less than 30 minutes (some 10 minutes).  A chip replacement can take half a day or more.

Q: Will it damage my engine?

A: Our units are designed to improve your performance no more than 30%. So no, this is well within the tolerances of most engines. We have never had to our knowledge an incident where our unit has been responsible for any engine or engine related problem.

Q: Will I achieve the figures that are published?

A: Our published figures are generally conservative so as even the under performing or tired vehicles still achieve these figures and every body is happy.

Q: Why will giving my vehicle more power achieve better fuel results?

A: The tuning unit provides more torque through the engine particularly in the low to mid range. This allows the driver to change gear more quickly even with a automatic so as a higher gear is achieved giving better fuel economy.

90% of the Diesel Tuning boxes we supply are "Plug and Play" which means they use the Original Equipment Manufacturers connectors as used in the vehicle and simply plug in to the vehicles existing plugs. No wires to cut, no fixings, just plug in and drive, and most take just minutes to fit. All systems are TuV Approved and come with a 3 year Warranty.

Once you have your Diesel Tuning Box fitted you can expect between 20-35% more power and torque . You will also notice that your engine will run with a new smoothness that has to be driven to be believed.

Low down "flat spots" will virtually disappear on your Car, Van or even MotorHome and your vehicle will pull through the gears with much more ease. You should also see an improvement in your vehicles fuel economy too, usually a 2-5 mpg improvement is achievable as your engines efficiency is maximised.

Peugeot 2.8 Hdi Boxer 2001 Campervan

"Hi,

Just a quick line to say that I purchased the green economic chip for my Campervan, I like to call it a RV, it’s a 2.8 HTI Boxer Autocruise Wentworth and quite a heavy van. I purchased the chip for economy reasons, the fitting took less than 10 minutes, the longest time was removing and fitting the plastic cover to the engine.

As the chip was only fitted at the weekend it was not possible to check fuel consumption, what I can tell you is that the torque and power have increased significantly, to the point of ridiculous, the van pulls in 5th gear from 30mph, whereas most people complain about the high gearing, on the short burst down the motorway, I found myself exceeding the speed limit were I would normally be cruising at 55 to 60mph.

On a long slow incline instead of the vehicle slowing and having to change in to 4th gear the van maintained a steady 60mph with out consciously pressing on the loud pedal.

As I have kept a log of the mileage and fuel used over 3 years it will be possible to accurately find out what the chip has done for the economy, I will keep you updated with these results later.

I will also write to the MMM magazine in the technical section to say how the old version of the boxer base vehicle can be brought up to the power of the new version for little time, effort or money.
